Egg and Sausage Casserole

This is a recipe that I “whipped up” one day. Since I had a ton of eggs to use, I decided to make a breakfast casserole that (mostly) everyone in my family would enjoy. And they loved it!

Servings: 8-10

Prep Time: 5 mins.

Cook Time: 30 mins.

Ingredients:

16 eggs

3/4 cup heavy cream

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. ground pepper

2 tsp. chives (fresh or dried)

9 sausage links, cooked and sliced

Instructions:

Whisk the eggs, heavy cream, and spices in a large bowl. Stir in cheese and sausage. Pour the mixture into a 9 x 13" pan. Bake for 30 mins, or until the center is firm. Enjoy!

Variation: Instead of using sausage links, use bacon!
